Workplace Conversations

One of the most powerful things you can do is spark a conversation in your workplace.

Hold a casual event in your staff room to talk to your colleagues about why we must use our votes to support public education.

Download and print the flyer below to give to your colleagues, and leave a stack on your lunch table for those who can’t attend.

Don’t forget to take a group photo using the selfie sign below and post online with the hashtag #ForEveryChild

Phone a Friend

This campaign is powered by conversations.

Today, we're asking you to pick up the phone and chat to 5 friends, family members or colleagues about what's at stake for public schools at the next federal election.

Not sure what to say? We’ve got you covered with some talking points to help get the conversation started.

The election is an opportunity to vote for a better education for every child in public schools.

The Prime Minister has reached agreements with state and territory governments that will deliver guaranteed funding increases for public schools across the next decade.

That means more teachers, more one-on-one support for students who need extra help with literacy and numeracy and additional specialist support such as counsellors and speech pathologists.

We cannot risk children missing out on this vital support by electing the Coalition with its track record of cutting public school funding.

I urge you to use your vote to support full funding for public schools.

Volunteer

We know that many people don't choose how they'll vote until they walk into a polling booth. Volunteering at a booth is our final opportunity to chat to people before they vote.

You can volunteer as much or as little time as you can spare.

It will all make a difference.

Please note: your details will be provided to the relevant state or territory branch of the Australian Education Union, who will be in contact to roster you for pre-poll/election day.
